Movemento
Terms of use
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This is a translation of the Spanish original, which prevails if they differ.
1. Who provides the service
Movemento is made by José Miguel Hidalgo, an individual. Contact: soporte@movemento.app. More details in the legal notice (movemento.app/en/legal).
2. What Movemento is
A diary of your sporting life built from the Apple Health data on your iPhone, with an optional social layer: following people, posting workouts, cheering, commenting, challenges, meetups and clubs. It's free. We may add, change or remove features. If there are ever paid features, their conditions will be explained before you sign up for them.
Movemento is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. The data comes from your devices and is indicative only: don't use it to make decisions about your health. If in doubt, consult a professional.
3. Your account
- You must be 16 or older.
- You sign in with your Apple Account. The account is personal: don't share it or impersonate anyone else.
- Your diary works without an account and lives on your iPhone. The account is only for the social features.
4. What you post
- It's still yours. So that Movemento can work, you give us a free, non-exclusive permission to store it, make the necessary technical copies and show it to the people you choose (your followers, or anyone with an account if your profile is public). The permission lasts while it is posted. When you delete it, or delete your account, it disappears within 30 days at most, including copies.
- Only post what you have the right to post: your photos and your workouts. Photos of other people, only with their permission.
- Other people see what you post. Think about what you share, especially routes, photos and health data such as heart rate, which is only shown if you tick it.
5. Rules and moderation
- The community rules (movemento.app/en/rules) are part of these terms.
- Anyone can report a post, a comment or a profile from the app or at denuncias@movemento.app. We review reports within 24 hours.
- Anything reported by several established accounts is hidden automatically until a person reviews it. This is the only automated decision.
- If something breaks the rules or the law, we may delete it and suspend or close the account of whoever posted it. We'll tell you by email what we've done and why.
- If you disagree, reply to that email or write to soporte@movemento.app and a person will review it. You can also go to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act, or to the courts.
6. What you can't do
- Use Movemento for anything illegal, to harass or to send spam.
- Try to access other people's data or accounts, get around the service's limits or overload it (for example, with automated programs).
- Copy or reuse what other people post without their permission.
7. Closing the account
- You, whenever you want, from the app (Profile › Your account › Delete my account). Everything you have on the server is deleted, and your diary stays on your iPhone.
- Us, if you break these terms or the rules, with notice and a reason, unless we have to act immediately for safety or legal reasons.
- If we ever close the social features, we'll give at least 30 days' notice. Your diary stays on your iPhone.
8. Warranties and liability
- Movemento is free and provided as is. We do our best to keep it working and to protect your data, but it may fail or be unavailable at times.
- We're not responsible for what other people post, although we act as soon as we know about it.
- Meetups and clubs are organized by their users, not by Movemento. Going to a meetup is your decision and your responsibility, and what happens there is up to those who go.
- Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited (for example, for intent or gross negligence).
9. Changes
If we change anything important in these terms, we'll let you know in the app before it applies. If you disagree, you can delete your account.
10. Applicable law
Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
